Mary Kiefer founded Kiefer Title Company in December 1991.
Mary gained experience in the title industry by working at Pirrie & Associates from 1985
until the death of the owner, Robert Pirrie, in February 1991.
In March of 1993 Renea Picou, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, joined
the company.
Over the years, we have become a company known for great customer service and
quality work. By 2003 we had expanded to 6 employees.
In 2004, Kiefer Title Company relocated to our present location at 21 South Main Street
in Perryville.
Kiefer Title Company has been a member of the Missouri Land Title Association since
March 1992. They joined the American Land Title Association in January 1997.
The company’s title insurance underwriters are Old Republic National Title Insurance
Company, First American Title Insurance Company, Transnation Title Insurance
Company, and Farmers National Title Insurance Company.
Kiefer Title Company is licensed to provide title insurance throughout the entire state of
Missouri.
We now have a total of six employees, including: Mary Kiefer (President), Renea Picou
(Closing Agent), Connie Heberlie & Verna Bohnert (Searchers), Pat Schamburg (Final
Policies), and Roger Prost (Computer Specialist /Accounting / Construction
Disbursement).
